Plans and pictures

"This building, with a volume that is very respectful of the environment and a façade treatment that makes it very transparent and invites you to enter, perfectly meets all the needs that were requested in the functional program. It is also a library in which solutions have been devised to make the space more flexible and to be able to add new uses comfortably.

"The spaciousness and the magnificent natural lighting are the most characteristic features of this library. The furniture becomes the protagonists of the space, since they seem animated beings that change shape. On the upper floor you can even wander through the book shelves.

"The strength of this building lies in its peculiar volumetry and in the large pergola on the main facade, which seems to protect you and at the same time invite you to enter. This feeling happens again on the upper floor, with a sloping roof as a mantle that, in the words of the architect, will protect the user in the concentration that reading requires. "
